How your net salary is calculated

  • Monthly gross pay = basic salary + other taxable pay.
  • Annual gross income = monthly gross × number of salary months.
  • Income tax (PIT) is computed using TRAIN Law progressive brackets.
  • Monthly tax = annual tax ÷ 12.
  • Total monthly contributions = SSS + PhilHealth + Pag-IBIG (amounts you entered).
  • Net monthly salary = monthly gross − monthly tax − total monthly contributions.

Tips for using this calculator

  • Use real contribution amounts from your latest payslip for best accuracy.
  • If your 13th-month pay is taxed differently, keep “salary months” at 12 for normal computation.
  • Try different salary or contribution values to see how they affect your take-home pay.
