How your net salary is calculated
- Monthly gross pay = basic salary + other taxable pay.
- Annual gross income = monthly gross × number of salary months.
- Income tax (PIT) is computed using TRAIN Law progressive brackets.
- Monthly tax = annual tax ÷ 12.
- Total monthly contributions = SSS + PhilHealth + Pag-IBIG (amounts you entered).
- Net monthly salary = monthly gross − monthly tax − total monthly contributions.
Tips for using this calculator
- Use real contribution amounts from your latest payslip for best accuracy.
- If your 13th-month pay is taxed differently, keep “salary months” at 12 for normal computation.
- Try different salary or contribution values to see how they affect your take-home pay.
